About Mrs. Ottis

Education

Hi, I am Mrs. Ottis. I am so excited for this school year. I love teaching kindergarten. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (Go Huskers) in 2003. In 2006, I received my Master's of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. I am currently working on my Education Specialist in Technology in the Classroom at the University of Missouri at Columbia. I began teaching in Park Hill in August 2004!

Family

My husband, Jason, and I have 2 daughters (Madelyn and Nora). They keep us very busy with sporting events and school events. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors. We spend time riding bikes and following all sports teams in KC (Sporting KC, Royals and Chiefs). We are very big Nebraska fans and enjoy going back to Lincoln for football games and volleyball games. Our family also has two dogs; Wrigley and Macy.
